Everyone has a Hot Wheels story—and it’s the story of an old and abandoned bus that helped it clinch the title on the second stop of the Legends Tour. Vicky and Randy Roeber’s 1938 Dodge Superior Bus, now painted baby blue with wooden side panels, was once a school bus. Deserted in a grove in 1951, the Roebers found the bus 60 years later (it even had a tree wrapped around it!) and gave it a second chance at life. Now it’s headed to Vegas to try its luck at becoming the next Hot Wheels Legend!
One finalist from each of the 15 cities will join Hot Wheels at SEMA 2018 in Las Vegas, where one lucky winner’s car will be immortalized as a Hot Wheels Legend and turned into a die-cast car that will be sold around the world. For more information, visit hotwheels.com/legendstour and follow the tour on the Hot Wheels Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as with #HotWheelsLegends.
The Bone Shaker, a legendary Hot Wheels car, was a highlight for fans to see IRL.
