Did a 13-year-old draw the next legendary Hot Wheels car? It’s possible, thanks to his grandfather Robert Graham’s custom rat rod that won the Atlanta stop of the Legends Tour! Sketched on a paper napkin by grandson Landon, the car was built over the course of six years on a $25-per-week budget. It has a Chevy 305 engine, cantilever suspension, and vintage race car technology for even more authenticity. It’s a car that bridged generations—just like Hot Wheels has been doing for 50 years.
One finalist from each of the 15 cities will join Hot Wheels at SEMA 2018 in Las Vegas, where one lucky winner’s car will be immortalized as a Hot Wheels Legend and turned into a die-cast car that will be sold around the world. For more information, visit hotwheels.com/legendstour and follow the tour on the Hot WheelsFacebook andInstagram accounts, as well as with #HotWheelsLegends.
More than 270 one-of-a-kind cars were submitted for consideration to be immortalized as a Hot Wheels die-cast.
Start ‘em young! The tour is the perfect place to imagine having the coolest car on the street.
Challenge accepted? Fans’ cars often exemplify the built-not-bought spirit of Hot Wheels that highlights originality.
